The Project:
The content and design for Great Bend Center for Music’s website was overhauled and lovingly maintained by me in my role as the Director of Content & Engagement (i.e. marketing director) for this non-profit using music as a tool for community building. It was designed in Figma and brought into an extensively customized Wordpress theme and included an events calendar, online donations, programming information, gated content for students, and blog.
The Results:
The site saw a 10x increase in monthly unique visitors at launch, a 25x increase in visitors during the spring enrollment term compared to previous year, and a doubling in Google PageRank for both the mobile and desktop. The site also resulted in 3x the email list signups in the first month alone than the previous site had gathered in the entire past year.
